The Board of Regents, during its 1353rd meeting last 02 September 2020, formally approved the appointment of Assoc. Prof. Raymundo Pavo, PhD, as the new dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, effective 2 September 2020 to 1 September 2023.

Prof. Pavo was the former department chair of the Department of Social Sciences, and he succeeds Arch. Prof. Jean Marie Juanga as the chief executive of CHSS.
