DIBABAWON indigenous people residing in the UP Land Reservation in Compostela Valley province benefited from the Training on Effective Farm Cultural Practices on Banana Production, held on 23-24 January in Kidawa National High School, Municipality of Laak. Some 50 Dibabawon farmers availed of the opportunity to equip themselves with new knowledge and technologies with the help of Kidawa Barangay Council and resource person Araceli Yebes Bureau of Plant Industry (seen in the first photo receiving the certificate of appreciation from UP Land Management Officer Joel Sagadal). This initiative of the UP Land Reservation Office aims to sustain local livelihood and strengthen linkages between UP and the local communities.
