OBU-MANUVU indigenous people residing within the UP Mindanao Marilog Land Reservation (area: 4,100 has.) celebrated 33rd Araw ng Ladi-an on 5 February. Chancellor Concepcion attended to extend felicitations to the partners Obu-Manuvu Unified Ancestral Domain Tribal Council of Elders/Leaders (OMUADTCELI) led by Datu Lipatuan Joel Unad and Mahabbok Datu Luis Lambac. Sitio Ladi-an, within the UP Land Reservation, is part of the Certificate of Ancestral Domain Title No. R11-DAV-1108-091 covering 36,713.52 hectares. See the photos here:

In Barangay Marilog located in the Marilog (Davao City)-Arakan (N.Cotabato) Land Reservation (area: 4,100 hectares) was provided the Training on the Prevention and Control Practices of Banana Wilt Disease on 21 November [in photo, above]. Twenty-one farmers of the Óbu-Manúvu indigenous people who plant Cardáva bananas attended. The resource person was plant pathologist Araceli Yebes of Bu. of Plant Industry.
