A five-day value chain training was spearheaded in Tacloban City on July 8-12, 2013 by the International Potato Center (CIP) to government organizations with existing projects funded by the Investment Fund for Agriculture and Development (IFAD). A/Prof. Vlademir Shuck and Ms. Roxanne Aguinaldo attended the activity entitled, “Integrating Value Chain Approach in Rural Development Programs”. Their participation was made possible through the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).

BE in Daily Life”, a one-day orientation program for the freshmen students of the Agribusiness Economics program. Held last July 1, 2013, the event was filled with different thoughts from the current students on how to survive in the university, as well as the responsibilities of a UP Min student. It was attended by the faculty and staff of SOM and some recent graduates of ABE who shared personal experiences as former students.
