UP Mindanao Vice-Chancellor for Administration Asst. Prof. Leo Manuel Estaña (left, in the above photo) administered the Oath of Office to the UP Alumni Association Davao (UPAAD) Board of Directors 2024-2025, and new officers at the UPAAD General Assembly held on July 31, 2024, in Davao City. Taking their oaths are (left-right, in above photo) new director Nelson John Militante (new VP), re-elected director Mohammad Khalil Guinomla (new president), new director Philip John Pojas, continuing directors Ana Siapno-Gualberto and Mona Abad, re-elected directors Rosario Amatong-Buendia (re-elected secretary), Sherwin Ramos, and Marie Glenn Cedeno-Sorila (new chairperson), continuing directors Bai Ashrafia Biruar-Mitmug (new treasurer) and Krishna Hernandez-Balaga, re-elected director Rene Estremera, and continuing director Ramon Bien (new auditor). Continuing director Joel Laserna also attended.

In the following General Assembly, the body approved the current agenda and the minutes of the 2023 General Assembly. Outgoing president Pedro "Bogs" Quitain III delivered his recorded President's Report online and Treasurer Mona Abad the Treasurer's Report. The president expressed gratitude for the contributions of the late Sebastian "Angie" Angliongto, the outgoing chairperson Nap Concepcion, and other outgoing directors. Nap Concepcion gave updates on the proposed Bahay Alumni on campus and expressed his willingness to continue his involvement. Khalil Guinomla gave updates and new ideas for the Masjid project on campus. Comelec chairperson Mitmug reported on the election results. Mona Abad accepted the chairpersonship of the Legacy Tiles committee. The UPAAD also discussed the rehabilitation of the UPAAD bulletin board on campus and the prospects for an alumni homecoming on the 30th anniversary of UP Mindanao in 2025.
