The University of the Philippines Mindanao (UPMin) architecture graduates continued their 100%-passing achievement in the June 2023 Architecture Licensure Examination (ALE) with 26 new licensed architects.

The Professional Regulation Commission and the Board of Architecture released the result of the ALE on June 15, 2023.

Architect and Prof. Isidoro Malaque III, the chairperson of the UPMin Department of Architecture, expressed his reaction to the result. “It was exciting that our takers maintained the 100%-passing rate,” he said.     

The UPMin Department of Architecture has continuously achieved a 100%-passing rate for many years. It has produced ten board top notchers, as well. For this reason, the BS Architecture program has had the biggest student intake in recent years. 

The architecture students were helped by the Architecture Instructional Examination (AIEX), a mock board exam developed by the department, which has been revived and conducted again after having been discontinued during the pandemic.

Colon, Cserah Marl G. Enano, Pauline S. Gabayan, Katya Claude E. Gojar, Reina Arantxa B. Gomez, Hazel U. Jumawan (magna cum laude, 2020), Awit J. Ledesma, Nicole Kate B. Maceda, Kimberlyn Faith M. Olalo, Katlyn Fei D. Oribiana, Arnulfo Miguel C. Osio, Jofer Dame G. Patenio, Joshua Jake A. Pingoy, Fraulein Anne Marie V. Reyes, Trisha Jamaica C. Reyes, Roland Francis C. Rodriguez, Jairo Christian N. Royo, Nikka Louie Marie C. Solidarios, Ma. Katrina Samantha A. Tagud, Szahirrah Joy S. Uka.
