We congratulate John Bengan as well as the Finalists who greatly contributed to Philippine Literature with their excellent first books. The Madrigal Gonzalez Best First Book Awards will come back next year, when the search for the next Best First Book in Filipino will begin. The awarding ceremony was held at the Gimenez Gallery, UP Diliman. To be followed by the Likhaan 17 Journal Launch and UP Writers’ Night."
