Development Academy of the Philippines' (DAP) Jean Marie Torreon and Rose Ann Pamilar conduct a Customer Satisfaction Survey in UP Mindanao

 The Development Academy of the Philippines' (DAP) Jean Marie Torreon and Rose Ann Pamilar conducted the 2024 Citizen Satisfaction Survey (CitSat) at UP Mindanao on October 30, 2024, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The survey, part of the Government Quality Management Program, aimed to gather feedback on frontline services to inform service quality improvements aligned with national development goals. DAP deployed enumerators to conduct face-to-face interviews with randomly selected citizens, with plans to extend another day, if needed.

The 1st Place winners of the UPAAD x UP Mindanao Waiting Shed Design Competition, with UP President Jimenez, Chancellor Lyre Murao, and Regent Aranton

BS Architecture student teams won at the UPAAD x UP Mindanao Waiting Shed Design Competition. This contest was initiated by the UP Alumni Association Davao for its plan to construct a waiting shed near the UP Mindanao Masjid. The awarding ceremonies were held at the UPAA's OneUP Davao-Mindanao Leg Gathering and Fellowship on October 12, 2024.

In 3rd Place was the design concept titled "Kanlungan," designed by the team of Jaine Bezza Abellar, Bethany Earl Josefa Banagan, Samantha Nicole Casals, and Isaiah Dominique Macabutas.

At 2nd Place was the design concept titled "Kasanggayan," by the group of Christal Nicole Capadosa, Marielle Gayle Fernandez, Keren Jhea Open, Junnie May Peralta, and Lourdeline Angel Tan.

At 1st Place was the design concept titled "Lingkod" from the group composed of Ellah Jasmin B. Rosalita, Raizza Marie S. Polinar, James D. Ronquillo, Angelica R. Peralta, and Andrea Chezca C. Sanchez.

University President Angelo Jimenez at the UP Mindanao Atrium on October 13, 2024

University President Angelo Jimenez and his party gave suggestions for the improvement or sustainability of the various UP Mindanao facilities during a campus tour on October 13, 2024. 

The president's party consisted of UP Alumni Association (UPAA) President and Alumni Regent Robert Aranton, UPAA vice president Fernando Sanchez, UPAA directors Benjamin Muego and Ma. Recelyn Marasigan, UPLBAA-Davao's Nelson Villamor, and UPAA staff.

UP Mindanao Chancellor Lyre Anni Murao, Vice-Chancellor for Administration Leo Manuel Estaña, Student Affairs Director Ma. Stella Salazar, and UPAAD's Khalil Guinomla, guided them through parts of the tour.
